Four new gen Boeing to join Biman fleet in 2018, 2019

Biman Bangladesh Airlines will add four new generation Boeing aircraft 787-8 to its fleet in August and November this year and October and November 2019.
"An agreement was signed with Boeing Company for procuring 10 new generation aircraft. As per the deal, two new Boeing aircraft 787-8 (Dreamliner) would be added to the Biman fleet by August and November this year," Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal said in the Jatiya Sangsad (parliament) on Wednesday, reports BSS.
Replying to a written question from treasury bench member Mahmood Us Samad Chowdhury from the Sylhet-3 constituency, Shahjahan Kamal said two more same model new aircraft will join state-owned Biman Bangladesh Airlines fleet in October and November next year.
Meanwhile, under the agreement, four 777-300 ER aircraft and two 737-800 aircraft added to the fleet of the national carrier in 2011 and 2014, the minister informed the House.
