Global Islami Bank (GIB) signed an agreement with ARS-Bangladesh, a microcredit financial institution, at the bank's Head Office at Gulshan in Dhaka on Thursday for financing flower cultivation and Black Bengal goat farming in Jashore in line with the Agricultural and Rural Investment Policy of Bangladesh Bank. Syed Habib Hasnat, Managing Director of GIB, and Md Shamsul Alam, Executive Director of ARS-Bangladesh, signed the agreement. Additional Managing Directors of GIB Md Golam Sarwar and Kazi Mashiur Rahman Jayhad and Chairman of ARS-Bangladesh Md Abdul Matin were present on the occasion.
