Govt appoints administrator to BFA, dissolves board

FE REPORT
The Ministry of Commerce has appointed an administrator to the Bangladesh Fertiliser Association (BFA) after dissolving its board of directors.
In two separate orders issued on Sunday, the ministry's trade organisation wing appointed Mustafizur Rahman, a joint secretary at the ministry, to oversee the BFA.
He will serve for 120 days as per his assignment, during which he must hand over responsibilities to the elected committee and inform the ministry.
The present board was dissolved under Section 17(1) of the Trade Organisations Act, 2022, according to the notification.
