Grameenphone, the leading mobile network in the telecom sector, announced on Friday that its customers would have the opportunity to use the internet for two days (Friday and Saturday) without any charge.
Customers do not need to recharge or purchase any data package to avail of this offer," the company stated.
"This offer is available Friday and Saturday from 6 am to 6 pm for Grameenphone customers to enjoy."
The announcement was made on the company's verified Facebook page on Friday.
An official from GP mentioned that they are providing this offer as compensation for the weeklong blackout during the anti-discrimination movement.
