GRAMEEN BANK, SHAMADHAN SERVICES LAUNCH 'GPAY'

To ensure transparency and inclusion in financial transactions at the grassroots level, Grameen Bank is entering the cashless era. To this end, a cashless digital service is being launched jointly with Grameen Telecom's associate organisation, Shamadhan Services Limited. The official journey of this joint initiative began on Sunday with the inauguration of the 'GPay' Experience Booth at the head office of Grameen Bank. Present on the occasion were Grameen Bank Chairman Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Grameen Group Chairman Md. Ashraful Hassan, Grameen Bank Director Nazneen Sultana, Managing Director Sarder Akhter Hamed, Chief Executive Officer of Shamadhan Services Limited Dr. Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui, Deputy Managing Directors of Grameen Bank Syed Motiur Rahman, A K M Sazzad Hossain and Md. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury.
