Green Delta Insurance Company Ltd. has signed an MoU with the Department of Banking & Insurance, University of Dhaka, for collaboration in different areas, says a press release.
The forms of collaboration would include talent recruitment from Department of Banking & Insurance of DU for GDIC's Future Leader Programme, Nasir A. Choudhury Scholarship exclusively for the students of this department, career talk to orient the students of the department with professional life, knowledge sharing sessions for students and GDIC employees and joint research initiatives for development of insurance market in Bangladesh.
Dr. Muhammad Abdul Moyeen, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka, was present as the chief guest of the event, while Dr Md. Main Uddin, Professor & Chairman of the Department of Banking & Insurance, was present as guest of honour and Farzanah Chowdhury, MD & CEO of Green Delta Insurance, was present as a special guest.
Farzanah Chowdhury and Dr. Muhammad Abdul Moyeen signed the memorandum of understanding on behalf of their respective organisations.
