Chairman of Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) Shafiqur Rahman Patwary inaugurated the app at a ceremony as the chief guest at the National Press Club in the city on Tuesday.
Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Guardian Life M M Monirul Alam chaired the event while Managing Director of Square Pharmaceuticals Tapan Chowdhury was present as the guest of honour.
Using this app, existing customers of Guardian Life can avail various services, including premium payment, transactions monitoring, policy information, premium calculation, value added services, claim submission and claim tracking.
The list of countrywide 200-plus hospital network with discount facility is also available in the app. Any interested person can get different information from this app like benefits of insurance, various services of Guardian Life, premium calculations and many more, according to the company.
Speaking on the occasion, IDRA Chairman Shafiqur Rahman Patwary said, "We are working very hard to develop the insurance sector of Bangladesh. It is the innovation and pace of progressive companies like Guardian Life that makes us hopeful about the future of this industry."
