Hafizur Rahman takes charge as FBCCI administrator

Bangladesh Competition Commission member Md Hafizur Rahman formally took charge on Wednesday as the administrator of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), reports BSS.

Md Hafizur Rahman was also a former additional secretary to the government.

General council members of FBCCI and senior officials of FBCCI secretariat were present, among others, on the occasion.

Earlier on Wednesday, the interim government appointed Md Hafizur Rahman as the administrator of the FBCCI. The Ministry of Commerce issued a circular in this regard on Wednesday under Section 17 of the Trade Organizations Act, 2022.
