Hasmot Ali elected Chairman of Union Insurance

The 24th virtual Annual General Meeting of Union Insurance Co. Ltd. was held on Sunday.
The AGM was presided over by Vice Chairman of the Company Mohammed Hasmot Ali.
The shareholders approved 10% cash dividend and expressed their satisfaction with the overall business performance of the company, says a statement.
After AGM the 145th Board of Directors Meeting was held. In meeting, Mohammed Hasmot Ali was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Company and Md. Belayet Hossain elected as Vice Chairman.
Md. Azizur Rahman was elected Chairman of the Executive Committee, Jahangir Alam Chairman of the Claims Committee, Mohammad Faiz Chairman of the Audit committee and M.U.A. Quader Chairman of the NRC committee (re-elected).
Nuruddin Ahmed was elected as Chairman of the Finance Committee. Other directors, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Talukder Md. Zakaria Hossain and Company Secretary Shafquat Moula were also present in the meeting.
