Agrabad Corporate Branch and Khatungonj Corporate Branch of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has jointly organised a webinar on "Compliance of Shari'ah in Banking Sector" recently.
Maj General (Rtd) Engr Abdul Matin, chairman of Risk Management Committee of IBBL, addressed the programme as the chief guest while Muhammad Qaisar Ali, additional managing director of the bank, addressed it as the special guest.
Mufti Sayeed Ahmed, vice-chairman of IBBL Shari'ah Supervisory Committee, addressed the webinar as the chief discussant. Meah Md Barkat Ullah, Executive Vice President and Head of Agrabad Corporate Branch presided over the programme.
Md Shamsul Huda, Executive Vice President and Miftah Uddin, Senior Vice President and Head of Khatunganj Corporate Branch of the bank addressed the programme.
