ICC Bangladesh team visits Auckland, discusses trade, investment

ICC Bangladesh President Mahbubur Rahman (Centre) along with a five-member business delegation visited Auckland Business Chamber and ICC New Zealand in Auckland recently.

ICC Bangladesh President Mahbubur Rahman visited Auckland on September 5-9 along with a 5-member business delegation at the invitation of Auckland Business Chamber and ICC New Zealand, says a press release.
The delegation held a meeting with Simon Bridges, ICC New Zealand Secretary General and Chief Executive Officer of Auckland Business Chamber on September 8.
They discussed the possibilities of exporting RMG, pharmaceutical and leather products from Bangladesh to New Zealand as well as exploring investment opportunities.
ICC Bangladesh President Mahbubur Rahman extended an invitation to Mr. Bridges to visit Bangladesh with a business delegation to give the opportunity to further discuss the prospect for increasing trade and investment between the two countries as well as arrange a visit for the delegation to different industrial units and export processing zones.
The business delegation who visited Auckland included ICC Bangladesh Vice President A.K. Azad, Mohammed Abdul Jabbar, Managing Director, DBL Group, Matiur Rahman, Chairman and Managing Director, Uttara Group of Companies, Engr. Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed, Managing Director, Saiham Cotton Mills Limited, and ICC Bangladesh Secretary General Ataur Rahman.
