ICMAB holds 52nd AGM

Md Abdur Rahman Khan, president of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), presided over the 52nd AGM of the company at the ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium, ICMA Bhaban, Nilkhet on Friday.

The 52nd annual general meeting (AGM) of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) was held at the ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium, ICMA Bhaban, Nilkhet on Friday, said a press release.
Md Abdur Rahman Khan, president of the Institute, presided over the meeting.
Muhammad Abdullah, Executive Director, ICMAB, offered the welcome address.
Dr Md Salim Uddin, Vice President, presented the activities and progress of the examination, while Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, Vice President, presented the activities and development of education at the Institute.
Md Kausar Alam, Secretary, presented the council of the Institute report for the year 2022-2023. Md Akhtaruzzaman, Treasurer, presented the Audited Accounts and Financial Reports of the Institute for 2022-2023.
Later on, members of the institute shared their views and opinions regarding the annual report and various issues related to the CMA profession.
ICMAB President Md Abdur Rahman Khan thanked everyone for being supportive and cooperative for the cause of the Institute and CMA profession. He and other office bearers later answered the members' queries.
Past presidents, council members and around one thousand fellow and associate members of the institute attended the AGM.
Besides, the Dhaka Branch Council (DBC) election was held for the 2024 term. One thousand one hundred thirty-five members were cast their votes to elect 10 council members of DBC for this term, the release added.
