ICMAB webinar on 'Islamic Social Finance Ecosystem'

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) hosted a webinar on 'Sustainable Islamic Social Finance Ecosystem' recently, says a press release.

Speaking at the webinar, ICMAB President Prof. Dr. Md. Salim Uddin underscored the importance of acquiring knowledge across diverse fields, such as Islamic Finance, which has a huge potential to address social imbalance.

Dr Ruhaini Muda, Associate Professor, Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, presented the keynote paper.

She showed in her study that collaborative efforts like integrating corporate zakat have high probability to impact social sustainability.

Dr. Muhammad Nazmul Hoque, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Accountancy, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, discussed this topic.

Immediate Past President and Council Member of ICMAB Md. Abdur Rahman Khan delivered the welcome speech. A large number of Fellow & Associate Members and students joined the webinar.
