The 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) was held on a virtual platform recently, says a press release.
Sharifa Khan, Chairman of IDCOL and Secretary at the Economic Relations Division, presided over the meeting.
During the FY 2022, the company's profit before tax and provision stood at Tk 6.98 billion (Tk 698.79 crore).
The AGM declared dividends worth Tk 1.20 billion (Tk 120 crore). Of the amount, Tk 700 million (Tk 70 crore) will be paid to the government as cash dividend, and the remaining Tk 500 million (Tk 50 crore) will be used to raise the company's paid-up capital to Tk 8.38 billion (Tk 838 crore) from the existing Tk 7.88 billion (Tk 788 crore) by way of issuing bonus shares.
