The 21st annual general meeting (AGM) of Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC) was held virtually on Saturday, with Fatima Yasmin, Chairman, IIFC, and Secretary, Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance, in the chair, says a statement.
NM Zeaul Alam PAA, Senior Secretary, ICT Division, Md. Salim Reza, Secretary, Ministry of Railways, Mohammed Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury, Secretary, Ministry of Shipping, Md. Abu Bakr Siddique, Secretary, Bridge Division, and Abdul Baki, Additional Secretary (World Bank Wing), Economic Relations Division, were present as Subscriber Members of the company.
Md. Habibur Rahman, Secretary, Power Division, AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul, Vice Chairman, Central Depository Bangladesh Ltd., and. Golam Mainuddin, Chairman, British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited, were present as directors of the company.
Md. Shahabuddin Patwary, Managing Director, IIFC, and Md. Zasim Uddin, Executive Director (Finance & HR) and Company Secretary of IIFC, were also present.
IIFC is a government-owned consulting company under Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance, which specialises in public private partnership (PPP), public procurement, research, survey and feasibility studies, financial and economic analysis, impact assessment, training and capacity building, institutional reforms, policy and advocacy.
IIFC works internationally. It was incorporated in 1999 as a company limited by guarantee under the Companies Act 1994.
