Import-export thru\\\' Hili land port suspended for six days

RANGPUR, July 27 (BSS): The import and export activities will remain suspended for six days from Sunday through Hili Land Port (HLP) under Hakimpur upazila in Dinajpur on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, official sources said.
According to the sources in Customs, importers, clearing and forwarding agents association (C&FAA) at HLP, all sorts of import-export activities will remain suspended through the land port from July 27 to August 1 next during the long vacation.
General Secretary of C&FAA of the land port Abdur Rahman Litan informed the national news agency this afternoon that all activities including imports, exports, customs clearance, loading and unloading of the goods will resume there from August 2 next.
However, movements of the passport and visa holder Bangladeshi and Indian nationals will remain normal through the Immigration Check Post at the HLP during the vacation period despite closure of import and export activities there, the sources said.
