The Metal (Pvt.) Limited, a leading agriculture tractor marketing company in Bangladesh, has launched a new model that can dig deeper and yield more output than the previous models.
The launching programme of the new product 50 HP YAFE7250 DI tractor, manufactured by Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE), India, was held in the city on Monday at presence of TAFE India officials and its Bangladesh counterparts.
Among guests in the launching programme were Engr Aminul Islam, Chairman, The Metal (Pvt) Limited, Sudarsan, Senior Vice President, TAFE, Engr Sadid Jamil, managing director of the TAFE and agents from all over the country.
A TAFE Bangladesh marketing office source said the new model tractor would consume low fuel and its service and maintenance costs are less than any other brand tractor in the country.
The source said due to the deeper digging capacity soils would get more minerals and would increase yields.
The Metal, currently the pioneering company in Bangladesh's mechanised agriculture, is selling tractors, harvesters, drum seeders and other agricultural equipment.
