Indonesia central bank expects economic growth next yr

JAKARTA, Aug 21 (Reuters): Indonesia's central bank governor said on Thursday that he expected economic growth to quicken to between 5.4-5.8 per cent next year, while the bank maintained its inflation outlook of between 3-5 per cent for 2015.

Bank Indonesia Governor Agus Martowardojo told a state budget meeting with the parliament that he also expected the rupiah to weaken from 11,600-11,800 per dollar this year to trade between 11,800-12,000 per dollar next year. The currency traded at 11,685 on Thursday.
