Int\\\'l symposium on HP tech kicks off in city

A three-day international symposium on HP Technology began in the capital Tuesday.

Hewlett Packard (HP) Enterprise Group, the US global information technology company, is organising the event at Hotel Six Seasons, Gulshan to showcase many cutting edge technologies and solutions, reports BSS.

This symposium will be beneficial and helpful for multiple market segments and businesses in the enterprise space and the target audiences are the top enterprise technical architects of Hewlett Packard partner community, a press release said.

"Hewlett Packard believes this focused enterprise forum will benefit the Information Technology-driven business front of Bangladesh as well as other participating countries of SAARC and Indo-China," it said.

As many as 125 participants -- 100 from Bangladesh and 25 from SAARC and Indo-China countries-are taking part in the symposium.

Country Manager for Hewlett Packard Enterprise Group Mohammad Ismail is hosting the event, while Managing Director for Hewlett Packard Enterprise Group, Asia Emerging Countries Vijay Balan and Pre-Sales Manager for Hewlett Packard Enterprise Group, Asia Emerging Countries Varuna Jayalath are the guest speakers.
