ISC Agro Food Processing Sector gets new body

Mr. Fakhrul Islam Munshi and Mr Md Shafiqur Rahman Bhuiyan have been made chairman and general secretary respectively of Industry Skills Council (ISC) Agro Food Processing Sector for the year 2015-2017.
They were elected at a meeting of the Executive Council of the Association held in the city recently, said a press release.
Mr Shah Alam was made vice president of the Council.
The Council elected a 15-member Executive Council for the period.
The new Council vowed to turn the existing manpower of the sector to skilled manpower as per the government's National Skill Development Policy.
It also vowed to consult with various donor agencies, International Labour Organisation (ILO), Secretariat of National Skill Development Council (NSDL) and related departments of the government with a view to improving the sector.
