Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC organised a webinar on 'Compliance of Shari'ah in Banking Operations' recently. Dr. Tanveer Ahmad, Vice Chairman of the bank, addressed the webinar as the chief guest, with Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director of the bank, in the chair. Mawlana Obaid Ullah Hamzah, Chairman, Shari'ah Supervisory Committee, was the chief discussant while Dr. Mohammad Abdus Samad, Member Secretary of Shari'ah Supervisory Committee, was the special guest. Muhammad Qaisar Ali, Additional Managing Director, delivered the welcome speech while Md. Shamsuddoha, Executive Vice President, gave the keynote address.
