Hajj camp at Ashkona is a government establishment specialised to facilitate the Hajj pilgrims coming from all over the country. The camp echoes with the sound of "Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik." Islami Bank provides various services to the Hajj pilgrims as part of its social responsibility. Every year, Islami Bank provides banking services, information and gifts suitable for Hajj rituals from the Hajj-booth at the Ashkona Hajj Camp. Banking services include supplying Saudi Riyals in exchange for Taka and endorsing dollars on debit and Khidmah cards. Islami Bank also installs ATMs to facilitate easy cash withdrawals. Cardholders of other banks with Visa facilities can also withdraw money here. Hajj pilgrims can withdraw Riyals from any booth with a Visa logo in Saudi Arabia through debit and Khidmah card.

Hajj pilgrims are provided with all types of banking information. There are arrangements of light entertainment for the outgoing Hajj pilgrims. The service recipients from the Hajj-booth are given gift items like an umbrella, handbag, shoe bag, and a stone bag. Leaflets and booklets containing Hajj guidelines and various information about Hajj are also provided. These materials are helpful and make the pilgrimage simpler and easier. Islami Bank supplies a bus to the Biman Bangladesh Airlines to ensure smooth transport of Hajj pilgrims from Ashkona Hajj Camp to the airport. Skilled and experienced officials of Islami Bank provide services from morning till night to ensure the highest level of service for the pilgrims.

Additionally, Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has "Hajj Savings Account" as part of a long-term plan to prepare intended customers financially and mentally for performing Hajj. The Mudaraba Hajj Savings Account (MHSA) is specially designed for this purpose, allowing customers to gradually save money and prepare for Hajj. The funds accumulated in this account can be used for various Hajj-related costs such as visa processing, airfare, accommodation, meals, and other expenses. Islami Bank also offers advice and services to customers intending to perform Hajj, making the process easier and more convenient. This account serves as a planned and convenient way for those who wish to perform Hajj. A client can open a Hajj savings account with a tenure ranging from one to fifteen years, according to their financial ability and plan.

Maximum provisional profit is paid to the Hajj account under the Mudaraba system. Since the monthly installment is determined according to the client's financial plan and capacity, it is easier to pay the installments. If the depositor wishes to perform Hajj before the account's maturity, they can do so with the remaining balance.

A Mudaraba Hajj Savings Account (MHSA) can be opened at any branch, sub-branch, or agent outlet of Islami Bank. To open the account, the client needs to provide photographs of themselves and their nominee, along with photocopies of their national identity card or passport. Clients can also open this account using the Cellfin app.

Paying monthly installments is hassle-free. Account holders can automate monthly payments by giving "Special Instructions" at the branch to transfer funds from their savings account to the Hajj Savings Account (MHSA).

Islami Bank's welfare savings scheme has already gained significant popularity. Many customers have successfully completed Hajj by managing their accounts in this manner.
