Under the initiative and funding of Jamuna Bank Foundation, a tree plantation programme and free medical camp were held in Katakhali, Munshiganj, recently. Local MP Mohammad Foysal Biplob was present as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony while Chairman of Jamuna Bank Foundation Nur Mohammed presided over. Managing Director & CEO of the bank Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed was present as a special guest. Some 6,657 patients were treated and given free medicines at the camp and 559 more patients were listed for eye operation.
