Jamuna Bank, Progoti Systems sign \\\'SureCash Mobile Financial Services\\\' deal

Jamuna Bank has joined SureCash mobile financial services network to deliver mobile banking and payment services to its customers under the Jamuna SureCash brand name, according to a press statement.
Using the service, a customer of the bank can open new account, deposit money or withdraw cash at any authorised SureCash agent.  A customer may also send money to another customer, receive salary or pay bills from his account using his own phone without visiting any bank branch.
Jamuna Bank and Progoti Systems Limited (PSL) have signed an agreement in the city to facilitate the system recently. DMD of Jamuna Bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and CEO of PSL Dr Shahadat Khan signed the deal on behalf of their respective companies.
Managing director and CEO Shafiqul Alam, DMDs AKM Saifuddin Ahamed and Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, and SVP Ahmed Nawaz of Jamuna Bank and directors Md Faizullah Khan and Akram Ali Khan, CBO Md Abu Taleb, EVP Zubaer Ahmad and SVP Sheikh Aminur Rahman of PSL were present on the occasion.
