Dr Sheikh Shamsuddin Ahmad has joined Janata Bank Limited as a member of the Board of Directors of the state-owned commercial bank, says a statement.
Presently, he is a professor at the Finance Department of the University of Dhaka (DU).
He was a senior economist of the World Bank from 2007 to 2011.
