Bangladeshi IT (information technology) professionals will get job opportunity in Japanese companies located in Japan, USA, Canada and other countries.
The selection process for the jobs will be done through a talent hunt contest.
In this regard, Bangla Business Partner (BBP), Japan in association with Daffodil Institute of Information Technology (DIIT) is going to organise an "IT Talent Contest-2014" in February.
1st and 2nd phase of the contest will be held on February 22 and February 28 next respectively. Applications will be received from January 20, 2014. All examinations will be held at main campus of DIIT at Panthapath, Dhaka.
The organisers said at a press conference in the city on Wednesday that in the first phase 20 contesting students will get employment opportunity in Japan.
Gradually IT professionals will get the employment opportunity in different Japanese companies in Japan, USA, Canada and other countries of the world by rotation, they mentioned.
Selected talents would be trained up in Japanese language and would be made capable of working in IT sector through exclusive professional training free of cost.
Managing Director of BBP, Toru Okazaki gave details about the contest in the press conference.
Final year students of computer science and engineering (CSE) department of different institutions of the country, passed out graduates or IT professionals will get the opportunity to participate in this IT Talent Contest 2014.
The contest will be held in four phases. In first phase Preliminary selection will be completed through online MCQ and IQ test. In the second phase a problem solving contest will be held in presence of local IT experts. In third phase contestants will be selected through local interview and finally Japanese employers will select the candidates through interview for recruitment.
In selection round besides local IT experts, former IBM Vice Chairman Norio Morakami will also be present.
