Arun Kumar Chowdhury Arun Kumar Chowdhury has been appointed as Managing Director of Karmasangsthan Bank as per notification dated April 09 of the Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance.
Prior to his new assignment, he was serving as Deputy Managing Director of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC), says a press release.
Mr Chowdhury is a dynamic and innovative officer. He has a brilliant career in the financial sector. He joined BHBFC in 1996 as a senior officer.
During his tenure, he held many important positions in the credit, administration, audit, recovery, engineering and general services departments of BHBFC.
Mr Chowdhury obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees in statistics from Chittagong University.
In recognition of his integrity, efficiency and dedication, he received the 'Shuddhachar Award' for financial year 2019-2020. He hails from Dewanganj Upazila of Jamalpur district.
