Khosru Dastagir Alam, deputy general manager of Sadharan Bima Corpo-ration, has been promoted to general manager of the organisation, according to a press release.
The Board of Directors of the organisation decided on the promotion at its meeting recently.
Mr Alam obtained honours and master's degrees in public administration from the University of Chittagong.
He received Associate of Bangladesh Insurance Academy (ABIA) degree from Bangladesh Insurance Academy.
He did his Post-Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (PGDPM) from Bangladesh Institute of Management.
Mr Alam received training on insurance and reinsurance from Tyser, a renowned organisation based in London.
