Lane Crawford declares Creative Call Out winners

Lane Crawford declared Tom Fereday Design as the winner and 12 runners-up selected from a panel of judges from the Creative Call Out held in Sydney in May.

The Creative Call Out is Lane Crawford's commitment to identify and nurture the best talent in fashion and lifestyle across the globe, says a Media OutReach statement.
The event in Sydney represented the eighth round with previous events held in Los Angeles, Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, and Hong Kong.
As many as 24 finalists were selected from more than 240 applicants across Fashion, Lifestyle and Creative categories at the Round-8.
The finalists were selected by a panel of Lane Crawford's representatives and industry experts.
Editor-in-chief of Vogue Australia and board co-chair of Australia Fashion Council, Edwina McCann, and publisher and editor of 10 magazine, Alison Veness-McGourty, were in the panel of Lane Crawford's representatives and industry experts.
Besides, editor-in-chief of Marry the Man, Damien Woolnough, creative director/founder of Double Rainbouu, Mikey Nolan, creative director of 10 Pieces and Icebergs, Maurice Terzini, interior and design author, Karen McCartney and designer Emma Elizabeth were also in the panel.
Tom Fereday was selected for his principles of honest design, conveying a design process which celebrates the materials and manufacturing processes by collaborating with local makers.
