The 9th edition of Leathertech Bangladesh 2023, an international trade show on machinery, components, chemicals and accessories for leather, footwear and travel goods sector, will be held in the city on November 2 and 4.
The ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd has organised the three-day trade show to be held at the International Convention City Bashundhara, says a press release.
Some 200 exhibitors from 10 countries will participate in the expo. The Council for Leather Exports (CLE), Indian Footwear Components Manufacturers Association (IFCOMA) and the Confederation of Indian Footwear Industry (CIFI) from India will also set up their pavilions.
Bangladesh has a robust domestic market for leather and non-leather footwear and goods with many local brands leading the market share.
The exhibition is open from 11am to 7pm.
Leathergoods & Footwear Manufacturers and Expor-ters Association (LFMEAB) has extended the lead support for the event. Bangladesh Tanners Association (BTA), Bangladesh Finished Leather, Leather-goods and Footwear Exporters Association (BFLLFEA), and Bangladesh Paduka Prostutkarak Samity (BPPS) have also extended their support.
