LG cooling solution for KEPZ

CHATTOGRAM, Aug 29: Korean multinational company LG Bangladesh is going to install the Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system in the Korean Export Processing Zone (KEPZ) in Chattogram.
The system with more energy-saving features will ensure sophisticated automatic central cooling in the second rest house of the zone, a statement of the LG said.
KEPZ Corporation (BD) Ltd. and LG Bangladesh's marketing partner Butterfly Marketing Ltd. signed an agreement on the installation of VRF system at the office of the managing director (MD) of the KEPZ Corporation in Chattogram on Wednesday.
Managing Director of LG Bangladesh DK Son and KEPZ Corporation MD Mohammed Shahjahan were present on the occasion.
Under the agreement, the VRF system with the capacity of 322 tons will be installed in the second rest house, a four-storied building, of the Korean EPZ.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, DK Son said LG's multi-VS VRF system minimises efficiency losses and provides sustainable energy benefits.
"It has the lowest life-cycle cost of any system in the market today, and the solutions are widely considered to be among the most versatile and powerful system air conditioners."
The system became popular due to its easy control of different functions and energy-saving capacity, he said, adding that the system had been installed in the Asia Pacific University, Grameenphone and Bengal Group.
Head of Consumer Electronics of LG Bangladesh Mahmudul Hasan, DGM of Butterfly Marketing Ltd. Zahurul Haque and its deputy manager ATM Mahfuz Hassan were also present.
