According to the MoU, Bangladesh will accept students of the Maldives to study medical science and healthcare courses and export medicines to that country.
Maldives will recruit more doctors from Bangladesh.
Earlier in April last, the health minister of Maldives had expressed his country's interest in recruiting physicians and importing pharmaceutical products from Bangladesh.
Praising Bangladesh's success in the health sector, the Maldives minister said the two countries need to strengthen cooperation for development in the health sector as they face same kind of challenges.
