Md Sayeed Ahmed re-appointed as FRC exec director

The government has re-appointed Md Sayeed Ahmed as executive director (audit practice review) of the country's Financial Reporting Council (FRC), a regulator for chartered accountants and actuaries.

A Finance Division order issued in this connection said that Mr. Ahmed had been appointed for a four-year period beginning from December 01, 2023.

Mr. Ahmed is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), an associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, CIMA, UK, BASEL professionals, Switzerland, and a member of the IBA Alumni Association.
