Meghna Bank signs agreements with BB under CMSME refinancing schemes
Meghna Bank PLC has signed participation agreements with Bangladesh Bank at its head office under the Cluster Financing Scheme and the FSFDCMSME Refinancing Scheme through the SME & Special Programs Department (SMESPD). Under the schemes, CMSME customers will be able to avail financing facilities at a concessional interest rate of 7 per cent per annum, enhancing access to affordable financing for entrepreneurs and small businesses nationwide. The ceremony was attended by Syed Mizanur Rahman, Managing Director of Meghna Bank, and Mohammad Sohel Miah, Head of SME Banking, along with other senior officials from both organisations.
