Mercantile Bank PLC distributed open agricultural loan among 47 farmers of Feni, Laxmipur and Noakhali districts at a ceremony held at an auditorium in Feni recently. Arif Hossain Khan, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Chattogram Region, was present as the chief guest. MD Zakir Hossain, DMD of Mercantile Bank, Md Abdul Ahad, Joint Director, Bangladesh Bank, Chattogram Region, Aynul Kabir Shamim, President of Feni Chamber of Commerce & Industries, and Md Ekram Uddin, Deputy Director, Department of Agricultural Extension, Feni, were present as special guests. Farid Uddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, SVP & Head of the bank's Cumilla-Noakhali zone, presided over the ceremony.
