'I won't forget those days when my house was broken. I would work for the whole day. But after coming back home, there was no food to eat, as dogs had eaten all the foods after entering my home through broken fences.'

Parimal Banu, a middle-aged woman, has kept talking about her unbearable past days when she struggled a lot. But now she is a successful agro-machinery entrepreneur, says a press release.

Parimal Banu started her journey in Shibganj Upazila of Bogura district. At a very young age, she got married to Moslem Mandal, who was engaged in farming. He used to drive tractors in the farming field. But after Moslem Mandal died accidentally, Parimal Banu, a mother of four children, felt helpless.

It was 2004 when Parimal Banu tried to earn money using her husband's tractor. But eventually she had to sell the tractor to pay off loans. In the same year, Sagor, her eldest son, also had to go to Dubai as a migrant worker to support his family.

Meanwhile, Parimal Banu had again applied for government support to purchase another tractor from Metal. After her application was approved, she bought a tractor. Since then, she started to get the benefit from the agro-machinery product of Metal.

Seeing her success, other farmers got interested to work with Parimal Banu. They have noticed that these agro-machines can help farmers do a fast job in the field and even help cut the cost. These machines help farmers cultivate crops with less efforts and time than in the traditional farming system.

The success of Parimal Banu drew the attention of the farmers of another village who started to contact her. They sought her suggestion about how to get more yields using the agro-machinery of Metal.

Thus, Parimal Banu started to move forward with her tractor and her network expanded to Tangail, Natore, Dinajpur, Kustia.

In the meantime, Sagor came back home. He realised the power of his mother. He joined his mother to help her. After every two years, they purchased a new model of agro machinery of Metal.

They then started to encourage other farmers. Their success had shown them the way to lead better lives. Now Parimal Banu is happy with her family. Now they have well-built house, cows, and enough food to live on.

Throughout the last 15 years, Parimal Banu bought more than 14 tractors of EICHER and TAFE brand from Metal. She also bought two combined harvesters. She also gave an order for another machine for the next season.

Parimal Banu, who has not forgotten her old days, attributed her success to the agro-machinery products from Metal.
