As part of its ongoing aim to give customers a greater access, MetLife Bangladesh has introduced online enrolment for the EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) Debit premium payment channel, says the company in a statement issued on Saturday.
EFT Debit enables customers to automatically pay their premiums through their preferred bank accounts, providing an easy and convenient way to maintain their protection needs while eliminating the hassle and environmentally unfriendly practice of filling out paper-based forms or making physical visits to their banks or any MetLife offices for this purpose.
To activate EFT Debit, customers only need to register once and after registration, premiums will be paid automatically from customers' bank accounts. MetLife's EFT Debit services can be activated through this linkhttps://epay.metlife.com.bd/eftdebitform.
Registration takes less than 2 minutes online and opens up a new channel of easy access with secure and convenient payments, while removing one more chore from the monthly list.
Digital payment channels like EFT Debit are gaining popularity in Bangladesh, with over 37 per cent of MetLife Bangladesh's transactions in this area currently collected via online channels such as EFT Debit, Online Banking and MFS.
Commenting on the initiative, MetLife Bangla-desh's Chief Executive Officer, Ala Ahmad, commented, "We promise always to be with our customers, building a more confident future, and this necessarily includes making insurance services more convenient and accessible for our customers. With the new online enrolment process, our customers can now activate EFT Debit in just 2 minutes, and enjoy world class insurance services seamlessly."
