NEW DELHI, Oct 9 (Xinhua): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Thursday that US$100 billion worth of foreign investment are knocking at the door of India, asking the states to grab them.
He said this is the result of his diplomatic interactions with Japan, China and the United States.
"(A total of) $100 billion investments from Japan, China and America have applied for visa. Now it is the turn of the states to capitalise on the opportunity," Modi said at an investors' conference in Bhopal, central India.
The central government will stand shoulder to shoulder with all states to facilitate investment and boost economic growth, he said.
