Month-long int'l trade fair starts in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Dec 12: The Bangladesh International Trade and Export Fair (BITEF) 2023 kicked off in Chattogram Tuesday.

Hosted by the Chittagong Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CMCCI), this marks the 8th edition of the fair.

Commissioner Krishnapad Roy of Chittagong Metropolitan Police was present as the chief guest, with M A Malek, the Editor of Dainik Azadi, as a special guest.

President Khalilur Rahman of CMCCI chaired the opening ceremony.

Addressing the audience, Commissioner Krishnapad Roy highlighted the nation's stable business climate, urging traders to remain vigilant to sustain this stability.

He also pledged full support from the police administration to ensure the smooth functioning of the fair.

The month-long Bangladesh International Trade and Export Fair will remain open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm daily.
