Mr. Noodles, a popular noodles brand, has been distributing iftar items among underprivileged children in orphanages every day across the country, says a statement.
The Noodles brand will distribute iftar among more than 10,000 orphans at various orphanages.
Riyad Hossain, Brand Manager of Mr. Noodles, said, "As we are distributing iftar across the country, including Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Feni and Chattogram, our well-wishers have requested us through facebook page of Mr Noodles to provide iftar in the orphanages of their areas. We have collected their addresses from the facebook page and are trying to arrange iftar as per the consumers' request."
"We have started iftar distribution programme from the first day of Ramadan and it will continue until 25th Ramadan," he added.
Toshan Paul, Deputy General Manager (Marketing) of Mr. Noodles, said, "We are spending money on iftar programme every day by allocating a portion of the proceeds from selling Mr. Noodles. We are happy to stand by the helpless children of orphanages."
