Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has launched its mobile financial services 'Bangla Cash' at a programme in the capital recently, said a press statement.
MTB Chairman Rashed Ahmed Chowdhury unveiled the 'Bangla Cash' logo as the chief guest.
MTB Managing Director & CEO Anis A Khan and Flora Telecom Limited Chairman & Managing Director Mustafa Rafiqul Islam were present on the occasion, among others.
Rashed Ahmed Chowdhury said MTB is pleased to enter into the mobile banking arena with the vision to include the country's unbanked people under the banking umbrella.
With the launch of 'Bangla Cash', MTB will be an integral partner in developing the country's economy by creating new employment opportunities in addition to offering cash deposits and withdrawals, funds transfer and shopping facilities, he added.
The 'Bangla Cash' is expected to be commercially launched soon, the press release added.
