National Bank PLC has recently launched remittance operations with dLocal Limited, a globally recognized Electronic Money Institution (EMI) based in Malta. The launching aims to strengthen cross-border remittance services and deliver faster, secure, and efficient solutions for millions of remittance customers. The launching event was held at National Bank PLC head office, Dhaka, in presence of the senior officials from National Bank. Adil Chowdhury, Managing Director of National Bank, formally inaugurated the event by cutting a ribbon. dLocal officials namely Bhaskar Manna (Treasury Manager/Lead, APAC), Sanjay Sahtani (Senior Treasurer, APAC), Zainab Zahid (Treasurer, APAC), Sagar Gangashetty (Payouts Associate, APAC), HM Baki Billah (Payouts Associate, APAC) and Shaion Tripura (Country Manager for Bangladesh, APAC) joined the event virtually.
