NCC Bank launches Tree Plantation Programme

As part of its corporate social responsibility, NCC Bank has undertaken an extensive nationwide tree plantation programme, marking World Earth Day. The initiative which aims to plant more than 14,000 trees across the country was inaugurated by Managing Director of NCC Bank M. Shamsul Arefin at Begum Nurjahan Memorial Girls' High School in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. The inaugural ceremony was also attended by Md. Alauddin, Headmaster of the school; and Md. Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of the bank. Various species of fruit-bearing saplings were planted on the school premises.
