S. M. Ayub Ali Chowdhury and Md. Sarwar Salim have been elected as Chairman and Vice Chairman of Northern Islami Insurance Ltd. respectively at a meeting of the board of directors recently, said a statement.
S. M. Ayub Ali Chowdhury is one of the sponsor-director of Northern Islami Insurance Ltd. A prominent businessman of the country, he is engaged in the business of manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and trading sector.
He is also the Chairman of City Pharmaceuticals Limited, K.B. Knit Fashion Limited & Fortune Fashion Limited.
Md. Sarwar Salim is a member of board of directors and convener of Manpower Review Committee of Northern Islami Insurance Ltd.
He is engaged in different lines of business activities like manufacturing, international trading and real estate business. He is the Managing Director of Panwin Fashion Limited, Panwin Garments Limited, Panwin Designs Limited, Pantax Accessories (Pvt) Limited and Shamoli Garments Limited & Director of Western Developers Limited.
