NRB Global opens 4th branch

NRB Global Bank Limited has opened its fourth branch at city's commercial hub Motijheel.
Chairman of the bank Nizam Chowdhury formally inaugurated the branch at Modern Mansion of the area in presence of high officials of the bank Thursday.
Speaking as the chief guest, he said the bank has been established with a unique vision of providing good services to its clients, and they will try to reach at doorsteps of people in a very short time.
"Keeping the view in mind, we will open a total of 16 branches within coming June, and two more branches will be set up this month in Chittagong and Gazipur," he added.
NRB Global Bank vice-chairman Mohammad Hanif Chowdhury, managing director (MD) Abdul Quddus, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) RQM Forkan, Director Dr Mohammed Faruque spoke on the occasion, among others.
MD Abdul Quddus said the bank has been providing all kinds of services like other banks of the country. However, as it is a specialised bank for the NRB (Non-resident Bangladeshi), they will get special facilities from here.  
"We can assure the investors especially the NRB's that we will fulfill their long standing desire to invest in the country safely as we have quality manpower with lucrative loan facilities," he said.
Mr Quddus said they have planned to run the bank based on Islamic Shariah as such kind of banking is very acceptable here.    
"We have already submitted our application to the Bangladesh Bank for getting approval, and hopefully we will get it," he added.
