NRBC Bank gets new DMD_

Veteran banker Md. Shaheen Howlader has joined NRBC Bank PLC as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) and Chief Business Officer (CBO), effective from
June 24.
Prior to joining NRBC Bank, Mr. Howlader served as Deputy Managing Director (Business) of NRB Bank PLC. With nearly three decades of extensive experience in the banking industry, he brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to his new role, says a press statement.
Mr. Howlader started off his banking career as a Probationary Officer at National Bank Limited in October 1995. Throughout his career, he has held various key positions at National Bank, Prime Bank, Modhumoti Bank, and NRB Bank.
Over the years, he has acquired experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, SME Banking, Retail Banking, Agent Banking, Agriculture and Rural Banking, Alternative Delivery Channels (ADC) and Cards, transaction banking, Foreign Remittance, Special Asset Management, Foreign Trade and Off-shore banking and Branch Banking.
Mr. Howlader is widely recognized in the banking community for his professionalism, business acumen, and commitment to sustainable growth and financial inclusion.
He did his post-graduation in demography from the University of Dhaka. He also earned an MBA in banking and insurance from the same university.
