NRBC Bank organised an open loan disbursement programme for marginalised, landless farmers, and low-income professionals in Bhola on Thursday. The event was held at a hotel under Bangladesh Bank's refinancing scheme. Rup Ratan Pine, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, attended the event as the chief guest and handed over the loan cheques to selected beneficiaries, including 21 customers of NRBC Bank. The event was presided over by Dr Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director and CEO of NRBC Bank. Md. Firoz Ahmed, Deputy Director of Bangladesh Bank; Sk. Ahsanul Haque, Head of SME and Agricultural Finance Division of NRBC Bank; Md. Romjan Ali Bhuiyan, Head of the Microcredit Department; and Md. Abdul Halim, Head of Barishal-Khulna Zone, were present as special guests.
