Nurul Amin appointed Chairman of BKB

Eminent banker Mohammed Nurul Amin has been appointed as Chairman of Bangladesh Krishi Bank's (BKB) Board of Directors on Sunday.
Mr. Amin is a distinguished banking professional with more than 42 years of experience in banking and financial sector of Bangladesh, says a press release.

Over the course of his long and accomplished career, he has served in several top leadership positions in prominent banks and financial institutions across the country.
Prior to this, he served as Managing Director & CEO of Meghna Bank PLC and NCC Bank PLC for nearly 13 years.
Throughout his career, he has earned recognition for his leadership, strategic vision, and contributions to the development of the banking industry in Bangladesh.
Mr. Amin has also held several prestigious industry leadership roles, including Chairman of the Association of Bankers, Bangladesh Limited (ABB), Chairman of the Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers Association (BAFEDA), and Chairman of Primary Dealers Bangladesh Ltd (PDBL).
He started his banking career in 1977 in Janata Bank PLC. He completed his bachelor (Hons.) and master's degree in economics from the University of Dhaka.
