Nurul Azim promoted to AMD at SBAC Bank

Md Nurul Azim has been promoted to Additional Managing Director (AMD) of South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce Bank (SBAC) Limited with effect from January 1, says a statement.

Prior to his new assignment, Mr. Azim was the Deputy Managing Director of the bank.

He started off his banking career with Premier Bank Ltd. as a Management Trainee Officer. Later, he switched to Southeast Bank Ltd. and also worked with National Bank Ltd. He handled multidimensional assignments, especially functional areas of trade services of the branch business.

Mr. Azim joined the SBAC Bank in 2014 and had been working as Head of Gulshan Branch of the bank. He became Deputy Managing Director (DMD) in 2022. He has been recognised as the best manager several times.

Mr. Azim completed his B.A. (Hons.) and M.A. in economics from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. He also attended various training programmes and workshops at home and abroad.
