Paramount Textiles launches 11-day exhibition in city

Anita Haque, chairman of Paramount Textiles PLC, inaugurates the 11-day exhibition at the company's head office at Gulshan in the capital on Saturday.


Paramount Textiles PLC, a leading fabric manufacturing company of the country, has organised an exhibition titled, "Spring-Summer Collection Fabrics Week," to further expand the textile industry in the international market.
The 11-day exhibition kicked off at the company's head office at Gulshan in the capital on Saturday and will continue until May 14, a company press release revealed.
It will be open for visitors between 10:00am and 6:00pm every day.
Anita Haque, chairman of the company, inaugurated the event Saturday morning.
Buyers from world famous brands in the apparel industry participated in the inaugural event of this world class fabrics exhibition.
Some 2,000 different quality fabrics, jute, cotton, linen, tencel, viscose, seer sucker fabrics, structure, voile, poplin and high dense fabrics are being showcased at the Fabrics Week.
Since 2008, Paramount Textiles has been manufacturing eco-friendly and sustainable yarn-dyeing, solid-dyeing and printing fabrics.
This year it has produced fabrics with a lot of emphasis on eco-friendly products.
Recycled cotton, recycled polyester, organic yarn, regen RD fabrics, natural color, ecobera libaco fabrics are among them.
Anita Haque said, "The exhibition has been organised to introduce the fabrics of our country to the international clothing market including Europe. It showcases the company's world-class fabrics for spring and summer for buyers from different countries".
The arrangement had been made to give an idea to the domestic and foreign buyers about the produced fabrics, the chairman of Paramount Textile said.
Representatives of world famous companies including Uniqlo, H&M, Zara, M&S, C&A, Tom Taylor are taking part in the event.
Fabrics are being showcased for spring and summer 2026.
